The story of Mubadala’s partnership with SailGP is deeply rooted in the UAE’s maritime heritage. This blend of tradition and innovation set the stage for Mubadala’s partnership journey—from its role as the title partner of the Mubadala United States Sail Grand Prix and the San Francisco race, to becoming a Global Series Partner in 2023.

Since the start of Season 4, Mubadala has ignited the spark of possibility in young hearts and minds—at home and around the world—through the Inspire Program. More than 22,750 individuals globally have experienced the program’s transformative power, shattering barriers of race, gender and socioeconomic status.

SailGP and Mubadala are building a legacy and making waves together through three key pillars: Learning, Careers and Racing. The Inspire Program in Abu Dhabi in 2024 saw the largest number of participants at any SailGP event with over 1,500 students.

By 2024, the partnership deepened further—beyond the Abu Dhabi race—to a collaboration with Strata, a Mubadala portfolio company, which began manufacturing advanced materials for SailGP’s F50 catamarans and showcasing advanced Emirati expertise on a global stage.

This is alongside SailGP marking a triumphant return to New York—home to one of Mubadala’s investment offices—and the celebrated debut of the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team—the league’s first Latin American Team with the first female driver.

These landmark feats further solidify Mubadala’s partnership in a sport that bridges continents, connects communities, and champions a shared vision for an inclusive and sustainable future.
