Direct Investments, one of Mubadala’s four investment platforms, has been renamed Private Equity, to better reflect the breadth of the platform’s strategy and mandate.

Private Equity executes global direct investments, focusing on buyout and late-stage growth equity transactions.

It actively manages a portfolio targeting companies across a range of sectors with strong fundamentals, including technology, healthcare, consumer, financial services, energy and sustainability, industrials and business services.

The team of over 140 investment professionals is led by Camilla Languille and Luca Molinari, the first Co-CEOs of a platform in Mubadala’s history.

Private Equity’s primary geographical focus is North America and Europe, with increasing activity in other key markets.
